Autism Diagnostic Evaluations – Fayetteville, NC
Full-Time or Part-Time | $350 per Completed Assessment
Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) to complete autism diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents in our Fayetteville clinic.
This role offers a steady referral stream, supportive clinical systems, and the opportunity to help families access timely evaluations and next-step recommendations.
Position Summary
- Employment Type: Full-time or part-time
The clinician in this role conducts standardized assessments, provides diagnostic clarity, and collaborates with the clinical team on treatment recommendations.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct autism and developmental evaluations using standardized assessment tools
- Provide clear and supportive diagnostic feedback to families
- Complete written reports within seven days of the evaluation
- Fulfill responsibilities as a Licensed Qualified Autism Service Provider (LQASP) under NC Medicaid requirements
- Collaborate with ABA clinicians on next steps and treatment recommendations
- Maintain timely, ethical, and HIPAA-compliant documentation
Qualifications
Required
- Active North Carolina license as an LP or LPA
- Master’s degree (LPA) or doctoral degree (LP) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology
- Experience conducting autism and developmental evaluations
- Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical writing abilities
- Ability to communicate sensitive results with professionalism and care
Preferred
- Experience providing evaluations in a pediatric clinic setting
- Familiarity with Medicaid documentation standards
- Experience with tools such as:
- ADOS-2
- CARS-2
- Vineland-3
- ADI-R
- SRS-2
