Director of Social Work

Whispering Pines Nursing & Rehab is currently hiring. Our facility provides residents with a full range of long‑term care and rehabilitation services, along with a variety of engaging social and recreational activities. We currently have an opportunity for a Director of Social Work in our Fayetteville NC facility.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in long‑term care, be compassionate and caring, handle multiple priorities, work flexible hours and enjoy working with an older resident population.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Human Studies or Bachelor Degree in Social Work or another human services field preferred.
• Qualifications:
  
  Enjoy working with older people, exercise judgment, display empathy, creative skills, imagination, friendliness, resourcefulness, enthusiasm, and have a caring attitude and sincere interest in others.
• No criminal background record or OIG exclusion.
• Licensure/Certification:
  Licensed Social Services Director preferred.
• Experience:
  
  A minimum of two years experience with at least one year experience working in Long Term Care or with the older adult population.
