Description

DME Company based in NC is seeking an individual to work full time as a Medical Equipment Service Specialist in Fayetteville, NC and surrounding areas. This position involves delivering, picking up and conducting service calls for durable home medical equipment.

Position Outline:

Schedule and perform delivery and pick up of medical equipment at patients’ homes, hospitals, or other clinical environments as necessary.

On site repair of broken equipment as needed.

Refurbishing worn equipment as needed.

Maintain service center equipment in patient ready condition at all times.

Coordinate weekly inventory audits and inform corporate service coordinator of needed inventory.

Ensure service vehicles are maintained appropriately.

Perform any other task assigned by the manager.

Requirements

Applicant Requirements:

Intermediate knowledge of electronics and mechanics.

Customer service oriented and willingness to work with patients in their homes.

Ability to meet and communicate with patients.

Ability to learn equipment and instruct patients.

Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.

Attention to paperwork detail.

Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Current driver’s license and clean driving record is required.

Professionalism and Communication skills a MUST.

Drug screen/background check required.
