Job Description
American Traveler seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience for a day shift position requiring weekend and call coverage.
Responsibilities
• Position is based in a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
• Work in the Interventional Radiology department
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Call coverage required as part of the schedule
• Floating within scope to like units may be required
• Uses Epic for charting
• Scrubs are provided
• Local candidates are not accepted; must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Return staff must be gone for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• There is a two-contract limit; after two contracts, a 6-month break is required before returning
• Days off and scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion and must be submitted initially
• All scheduled shift callouts may require makeup shifts as determined by the department
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years recent Interventional Radiology experience required
• Must have current IR experience
• Relevant certification or licensure required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Must provide two professional references from supervisors within the past 2 years
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
