Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big picture thinking to make an impact in simulation training environments for our United States military? You understand your customer’s environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission.

As a Systems Engineer on our team, you’ll use your experience in network design and architecture, information assurance, group policy and account management, virtualization, installation and configuration of applications, system administration and updates, and automation to lead a team of engineers focusing on Network Modernization on an inherited, legacy infrastructure. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions.

On our team, you’ll troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues on a training environment and analyze current working infrastructures to understand how to make improvements and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you’ll make an impact on national security missions.

Requirements

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Systems Engineering
  • Experience with managing complex projects from initiation to completion, while coordinating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with mentoring and providing technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Experience in Windows Server or Linux operating systems
  • Ability to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of critical enterprise IT infrastructure, including server, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments
  • Ability to develop and maintain strategic roadmaps for systems technology evolution
  • Ability to establish and enforce system configuration, change management, and security policies across the server landscape
  • TS / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation and configuration management platforms like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • Experience working in the Special Operations Community
  • Experience with architecting and implementing high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions to ensure maximum system uptime and business continuity
  • Experience with driving automation initiatives across system deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using scripting languages, such as Power Shell and Python
  • Experience with performing capacity planning and performance monitoring to proactively address potential bottlenecks and recommend appropriate scaling solutions
  • Experience with conducting root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents, implementing corrective and preventive measures to minimize future disruptions
  • Experience with expert-level administration and troubleshooting of virtualization platforms, such as VMware vSphere, or Microsoft Hyper‑V
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage and backup solutions, such as SAN, NAS, object storage, Veeam, and Commvault
  • Knowledge of active directory, group policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management systems
