Fayetteville Technical Community College is recruiting for a new member to join our Information Technology Services Team and is now accepting applications for a full‑time IT Support Specialist II.
This position provides technical support, user assistance, and system updates and maintenance for the College in a hands‑on capacity throughout the College. It ensures that issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. The role involves supporting faculty, staff, and classroom computer labs by diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to the use and performance of all campus computers, hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
Responsibilities require independent analysis, communication, and problem solving. Duties are performed with little supervision and require initiative and judgment.

- An Associate degree from an accredited college in Computer Technology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Technology; or equivalent. CompTIA A+ certification is a plus.
- One year of experience troubleshooting computers, peripherals, and software applications is required.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in support of Windows and/or Apple operating systems is required.
