Hiring Range: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
- Mowing grass
- Trimming grass, trimming shrubs and trees
- Performing various landscaping related duties
- Assist with planting flowers, bulbs, trees, shrubs
- Pavement and asphalt repairs
- Performs daily debris removal from university grounds
- Operates assigned equipment in the performance of duties
- Assists in the application of pesticides
- May be required to perform grounds maintenance duties without supervision
- Required to perform grounds tasks in all types of weather conditions
This position is scheduled for 40 hours per week. Weekly scheduled days and work hours will vary and may include weekends and evenings. Advance notice of schedules will be provided.
This position requires a valid driver's license. Selected applicant must have and maintain an acceptable driving record, preferably five or more years of driving experience with no more than one minor at fault accident or violation in the past three years.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsHigh School diploma equivalency; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with zero-turn mowers and landscaping equipment
