The Assistant Manager supports residents and manages business operations, maintains accurate financial records, and fosters a collaborative and supportive work environment.

You thrive in an office setting and are ready to assist the Leasing team with showing apartments, providing resident service support, and participating in resident retention and community events.

- Maintain the office and resident files with integrity in a confidential and secure manner.
- Safeguard and ensure all monies received on the property are properly deposited and entered into the operations system promptly.
- Respond promptly to resident comments and/or complaints.
- Assume leasing responsibilities, including leasing apartments when needed.
- Inspect and prepare apartments for move‑in.
- Encourage friendliness, openness, and availability to residents and co‑workers while discouraging non‑fraternization.
- Fill in for the Business Manager (Property Manager) during absences and as needed.
- Manage and monitor all rental collections, including:
- Collect rent on time and deposit receipts before bank close.
- Assess moves‑out condition and prepare final account statements.
- Immediately report liability claims or violations to the Property Manager, Regional Manager, and corporate office.
- Stay informed on market trends that may impact occupancy and income.
- Available full‑time, Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM (hours may vary slightly).
- Flexible for after‑hours resident events and/or the first weekend of each month.
- Onsite experience at an apartment community as an Assistant Manager or cross‑trained Leasing Consultant.
- Experience with Real Page, Knock, or Onsite Software preferred.

CompensationInitial pay range (based on location, experience, etc.): $19 per hour
Monthly Renewal & Quarterly Bonuses may be earned.
