• Can multitask without losing site of the details. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Abide by all NBC policies and procedures.
• Uphold the NBC image and brand.
• Assist other departments as needed and directed.
• Put cakes in cooler and rotate stock per the NBC standards.
• Maintain refrigeration logs.
• Alert management to issues and maintenance needs for equipment.
• Bake the full line of cakes by diligently following the NBC recipes.
• Remove cakes from pans and properly package them.
• Fold boxes and label containers.
• Track inventory of baked goods.
• Order and receive groceries.
• Complete a daily production sheet and share it with management.
• Keep baking area, tables, equipment and tools clean and sanitized according to local codes.
• Maintain and assist supervise the execution of all health code regulations. We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of Bundtcakes and sizes. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious recipe for Bundtcakes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
Bake a variety of breads, cakes, and pastries
Decorate cakes
Prepare custom orders
Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred
Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
Knowledge of food safety practices
Previous experience decorating cakes
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Team player
Available for early morning shifts
