A day in the life:

  • Diagnose causes of Industrial Refrigeration equipment breakdowns
  • Disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspection tasks as defined in each maintenance agreement maintaining adherence to budget objectives
  • Obtain clearly defined directives from the Service Coordinator on the specific tasks to be performed; assist the coordinator in scheduling inspections based on location, man-hour requirements, priorities, customer coordination’s, and material pick-up

You should have:

  • The availability to travel 50% of the time
  • Industry experience in the Industrial Refrigeration field
  • Primary area of expertise is evaporative condensers, large control systems, complex conventional electrical controls, Industrial Refrigeration Systems including ammonia, cascade, and rack systems with the ability to rebuild commercial/industrial compressors
  • Possess EPA approved CFC certification and RETA Course I and II certifications
  • Possess knowledge of current International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration / Refrigeration Engineers and Technician Association and OSHA safety regulations
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule to include varying shifts, short notice assignments, emergencies, nights, weekends, and overtime(scheduled and unscheduled), as required
