  • Technician Positions Pay Each Week
  • Hourly Pay: $35.00 per hour based on experience
  • Retention Bonus: $2000 paid every quarter within the first year.
  • Schedule:

    Flexible 40-hour work week (weekend premiums apply)
  • Fuel Card and Company Cell Phone provided
  • For mobile technicians, work site service vehicle will be provided

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or Technical Certification Post Secondary degree or Technical Certifications, preferred
  • Basic tools, required
  • Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including routine preventative maintenance, oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnostics and repairs, including AC and electrical systems
  • Advanced skilled level repairs to include major engine repairs, diesel after treatment or automotive fuel injection repairs
  • Four (4) years or more relevant work gula? experience, preferred
  • ? Commercial Driver License CLASS E, preferred
  • Valid or preferred Commercial Driver License (CDL) CLASS A
  • Must have minimum tools required to perform job duties as outlined in Ryder's Maintenance policy 2.02
  • Ability to perform preventive maintenance within company standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Additional training and There's strong emphasis on technical certifications

Responsibilities
  • Make diagnostic and repair decisions for vehicle issues.
  • Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties, including standard maintenance, preventive maintenance, and complex repairs with minimal support.
  • Access and use internal and external maintenance documents and diagnostic tools to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems.
  • Perform remote triage with RCRC and customers to determine best solutions for roadside breakdowns.
  • Conduct facility maintenance duties.
  • Interact with customers/drivers to determine complaint nature and advise on solutions.
  • Instruct and advise other technicians on maintenance repair procedures and diagnostics.
  • Perform preventive maintenance across multiple systems (A/C, brakes, engine, electrical, fuel, etc.) as per company standards within defined timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety requirements and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Assist in customer relations, driving skills, and account management when needed.
  • Execute assigned mobile service truck duties and secure vehicle contents.
  • Coordinate work schedule and provide quality repair confirmations.
