Part-Time Safe Ride

• Safely transport students to their residences using a 10-14 passenger van
• Perform pre-operational and post-operational safety maintenance checks
• Record and report statistics on passenger transport using an iPad
• Operate a two-way radio system for communication
• Assist in navigating transport requests and maintaining statistical data as a dispatcher

• The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• A valid Arkansas Driver’s License in good standing for the Safe Ride Driver position
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) for both driver and dispatcher roles
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel for the dispatcher position

• Previous customer service experience for the Safe Ride Driver role
• Experience working in a diverse environment
• Familiarity with operating a two-way radio system
