Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood, a category C Prison located in Wolverhampton. HMP Oakwood is one of the largest prisons in the UK, housing over 1,500 men. As a Senior Primary Care Nurse you will be overseeing a house block that houses induction prisoners, providing direct line management to healthcare staff and Duty Manager responsibilities during weekend shifts.

- Weekday shifts 7am - 6pm / 7am - 8pm
- Weekend shift patterns 7:30am - 8pm
- 8‑week rolling rota
This position is full-time, and you will receive an annual salary between £43,609 and £49,175 per annum (FTE), depending on experience.

- Lead a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions
- Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
