Machine Operator

We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, press & bending machinery to produce high quality metal components in line with production targets and safety standards.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday – 06:00am to 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities

* Set up and operate mechanical or CNC punch press machines.

* Read and interpret technical drawings, job cards, and specifications.

* Select and install appropriate punches, dies, and tooling.

* Load sheet metal or coil materials into the machine safely and efficiently.

* Monitor machine operation, completing adjustments when necessary.

* Conduct quality checks using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.

* Maintain accurate production records and part counts.

* Follow company health & safety procedures at all times.

* Perform basic machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.

* Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet deadlines and production targets.

Skills & Experience Required

* Previous experience operating punch press machinery (manual or CNC).

* Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment.

* Strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.

* Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

Desirable (but not essential)

* Forklift experience

* Overhead crane experience

* Knowledge of metal fabrication or sheet metal processing

* Machine maintenance experience
