Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a part‑time Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Oakwood, a category C Prison located in Wolverhampton. HMP Oakwood is one of the largest prisons in the UK, housing over 1,500 men.
Key Details- Hours:
20 Monday‑Sunday, 10.5‑hour shifts (2x 10.5 hrs with 30 min breaks, paid 10 hr shifts) - Salary: £34,428‑£41,659 per annum, depending on experience

- Work within a multi‑disciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions
- Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
- Provide nurse‑led clinics for your patient group, supported by a multi‑disciplinary team
- Deliver evidence‑based care, seek and act on patient feedback to personalise care
- Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference
