We are seeking a qualified ASL Interpreter for a 25-week assignment in Federal Way, Washington. This role supports effective communication between Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing individuals and hearing staff in a professional setting.
Responsibilities- Provide accurate ASL interpretation between spoken English and American Sign Language
- Facilitate clear communication in meetings, educational, clinical, or workplace settings as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality and professional interpreting standards
- Collaborate with staff to ensure communication needs are met
- Certification or credentials as an ASL Interpreter (RID or equivalent preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language
- Strong professionalism, communication, and cultural competency
