We are currently seeking a Hospice Weekend Flex Registered Nurse to join our team. This part-time role provides weekend support across Northeast King County and Southeast Snohomish County, with assignments based on fluctuating patient needs, new admissions, and urgent care situations.

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care focused on pain and symptom management for hospice patients.
• Respond promptly to urgent calls, assess situations, and deliver immediate interventions as needed.
• Administer and adjust medications, monitoring effectiveness for optimal comfort.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure continuity and address urgent patient needs.
• Support and educate families, offering guidance and reassurance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, assessments, and interventions.
• Manage emergencies and coordinate with the on-call team for additional support.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and follow hospice care protocols.

• Education & License:
  Active RN license required; hospice/palliative care certification (e.g., CHPN) a plus.
• Experience in hospice or palliative care settings is preferred, along with a strong understanding of end-of-life care principles and best practices.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Certifications:
  
  BLS required; ACLS preferred (based on care setting).
• Technical Proficiency:
  Proficient with EHR systems and healthcare technologies.
• Other Requirements:
  Ability to work independently, respond to crises, and adapt to diverse social, cultural, and religious backgrounds. Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto liability insurance.

Part-Time Rate: $50.00 - $56.75 per hour, depending on experience.

Full-Time Salary (FT Flex): $110,000 - $118,000 annually

All rates are negotiable within this range and will be discussed during the hiring process.
