Warehouse Handler – Day Porter / Janitor

Location: Renton, WA

Job Summary: We’re looking for a dependable and motivated Day Porter / Janitor to help keep our Renton warehouse running smoothly and looking its best. This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in keeping the facility presentable and functional—supporting daily warehouse operations through cleaning, recycling management, and general warehouse support tasks.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
• Respond quickly to spills, messes, and urgent cleaning needs
• Keep cleaning equipment and supplies organized, stocked, and properly stored
• Manage recycling materials including wood pallets, cardboard, and plastic
• Support general warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as needed
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and cleaning protocols
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training provided when applicable)

• 1+ year of janitorial or warehouse experience (required)
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with a team
• Ability to take initiative in a fast‑paced environment
• Solid communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive motions
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety guidelines
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Forklift certification is a plus (training may be provided) – must be willing and able to operate safely

• Full‑time (8 hours per day)
• Monday–Friday
• Some flexibility may be required for special events or cleaning emergencies

• $22–$24 per hour, depending on experience
