Our client, a well-established and highly respected residential developer, is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a large-scale housing development in Felixstowe. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced site management team, delivering high-quality homes while developing your career within a growing business.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the development, ensuring homes are built safely, efficiently, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the management of subcontractors on site.

Monitoring health and safety compliance across the development.

Supporting the build programme and ensuring works are progressing to schedule.

Conducting quality inspections and snagging checks.

Assisting with NHBC inspections and compliance requirements.

Coordinating materials, labour and site logistics.

Ensuring company standards and procedures are adhered to at all times.

Supporting customer satisfaction initiatives and delivering an excellent home-buying experience.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Finishing Foreman, or Site Supervisor within residential house building.

Experience working on volume housing developments.

Strong understanding of health and safety legislation.

Good organisational and communication skills.

The ability to manage multiple trades and workloads effectively.

A proactive attitude with a commitment to quality and customer service.

Essential Qualifications

SMSTS or SSSTS

CSCS Card

First Aid at Work

Full UK Driving Licence
