Carrington West are working with a specialist contractor seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a £7.5m infrastructure scheme at Felixstowe Port.
The project involves the replacement of twin crane rails within a live port environment, alongside associated heavy civil engineering works.

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for project delivery, managing site teams, subcontractors, programme, commercial performance, health & safety and client relationships.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing the project from mobilisation through to completion

· Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and engineering teams

· Managing programme, cost, quality and health & safety

· Overseeing construction sequencing, logistics and site interfaces

· Monitoring progress and driving delivery on site

· Liaising with the client and key port stakeholders

· Managing project risks, change and reporting

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

· Previous Project Management experience within heavy civils

· Experience delivering projects valued at £5m+

· Strong knowledge of civil engineering construction

· Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams

· Strong programme, commercial and stakeholder management skills

· Experience working within live or operational environments

· Relevant construction or project management qualifications
