Graduate Teaching Assistant; Temporary

Position: Graduate Teaching Assistant (Temporary)
Prospero Teaching are looking for Graduates to work as Teaching Assistants at a Primary School in Felixstowe from January 2026.

These positions will be ideal for recent graduates who are looking to gain experience in a classroom environment before starting teacher training.

Graduates in any subject will be considered, and the schools are especially interested in graduates of core subjects;
English, Maths and Science.

Contract/position details:

* Location - Felixstowe, Suffolk

* Position - Graduate Teaching Assistant

* Contract or position start date
-January 2026

* Duration / Likely Duration - ongoing for the academic year until July 2026

* Contract type - ongoing

* Full-time/part-time - Full-time Monday to Friday (term time only)

* Minimum rate of pay - £95-£105 per day

Experience, Training and qualifications:

* Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject

* GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or above

To be eligible you must have/be:

* Hold Right to Work in the UK

* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

* Provide a minimum of two references covering the last 2 years
