We are seeking a Customs Coordinator with a strong background in customs declarations and procedures. This role is ideal for someone with experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping, who possesses a keen understanding of import and export procedures and documentation. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple shipments and deadlines, and have confident communication skills.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist with customs clearance and ensure all required documentation and formalities are completed correctly for both European and rest of the world shipments.
• Complete and submit customs declarations using Government Gateway, IPAFFS, and other authority/Port systems as required.
• Proactively monitor shipments and maintain accurate shipment records, ensuring the system is filed correctly.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents to coordinate transport requirements.
• Support the wider operations team with general freight forwarding and administrative duties as required.
• Conduct compliance and auditing reports to ensure all operations adhere to legal and operational standards.
