About the Role:

This is a hands‑on Office Manager role based in

Felixstowe, owning the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office.

You’ll bring strong transport and freight forwarding knowledge, with confidence in UK–continent customs processes and documentation.

You’ll also support and drive commercial performance, building relationships and taking a proactive approach to sales opportunities.

You’ll lead by example, keeping the team organised, motivated, and delivering high standards.

You'll need:
Solid, hands‑on experience in transport and freight

forwarding Strong grasp of UK–continent customs requirements and

cross‑border movements Sharp commercial mindset with a focus on profitable

performance Real sales ability and confidence developing new

opportunities Natural leadership skills and the ability to get the best out

of people Great communicator — clear, confident, friendly, and

personal Organised, proactive, and calm when it’s busy

What You’ll Be Doing:
Keep day‑to‑day office operations running smoothly

and efficiently Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver consistently high standards

Drive sales activity by picking up the phone, opening doors, and building relationships

Use strong commercial awareness to understand margins, costs, and performance drivers

Coordinate transport/forwarding workflows and keep communication tight across stakeholders

Ensure customs processes and documentation are correct for UK–continent movements

Spot issues early, improve processes, and keep service levels high under pressure
