We’re looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Mobile Chef to join our Education Catering team. As a Mobile Chef, you’ll take the lead in preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals to pupils, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

You’ll be the Head Chef on-site, supported by 1–3 catering assistants depending on the school’s size. This is a mobile role, and you could be based at any of the schools managed across Suffolk (Felixstowe, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds areas), for as long as cover is required – or even at a different school each day.

• Prepare, cook, and serve between 50–200 meals per day, depending on the site
• Lead, motivate, and support your kitchen team to deliver excellent service
• Travel between schools to provide chef cover where needed (mileage paid)
• Deliver meals that meet both nutritional and school standards

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 2:00pm (plus extra time for travel)|35 hours per week (travel time included).

• Previous catering experience as a Chef/Cook
• Experience working in an education or contract catering environment is desirable
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
