Field Service Engineer (Forklifts)
Location:
Ipswich, Suffolk
Salary: £35,000-£39,000 (OTE £45,000+) - Paid Door-to-Door
Hours:
Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00 + Overtime (1.5x)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
About the RoleJoin a leading material handling company as a Mobile Forklift Engineer. You'll diagnose faults, service, and repair forklift and plant machinery at customer sites across the region.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical faults on forklifts and plant equipment
- Perform servicing and emergency breakdown repairs
- Work independently at customer sites and maintain accurate documentation
- Travel to various locations for repairs and maintenance
- Experience in forklift or plant machinery repair (essential)
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge
- Familiarity with engines and batteries
- NVQ/City & Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
- Full UK driving licence
