Export Manager

Our well established Freight Forwarding client based in Felixstowe is looking for an experienced Export Manager to oversee and manage all export operations ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods to international destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, coordinate, and monitor export shipments from origin to destination.
 
* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms.
 
* Prepare and verify export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
 
* Negotiate rates and services with carriers, shipping lines, and agents.
 
* Liaise with clients to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
 
* Manage relationships with overseas agents and partners for smooth operations.
 
* Monitor shipment tracking and proactively address delays or disruptions.
 
* Maintain accurate records and generate reports for management.
Skills &

Qualifications:

* Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes and international logistics.
 
* Familiarity with customs clearance procedures and export documentation.
 
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
 
* Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
 
* Proficiency in freight management systems and MS Office.
