Customs Coordinator

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing freight forwarding company who are looking to add an experienced Customs Clearance Coordinator to their operations team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid customs entry experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced logistics environment and wants to be part of a supportive, knowledgeable team.

• Prepare and submit customs declarations accurately using CDS
• Process EU entries and GVMS paperwork
• Complete and manage IPAFFS documentation where required
• Ensure all customs documentation is compliant with HMRC regulations
• Liaise with customers, carriers, ports, and internal teams to ensure smooth clearance
• Monitor shipments and resolve clearance queries promptly
• Maintain accurate records and update internal systems

• Strong working knowledge of CDS entries
• Experience with EU customs processes
• Familiarity with IPAFFS (desirable)
• Knowledge of Destin8, CNS, Excel, and Microsoft Teams
• Experience with Sequoia or Boxtop systems (advantageous but not essential)
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple entries efficiently
