On the lookout for a talented Ocean Import Operator to join our industry leading freight forwarding client in Felixstowe
.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong export operations experience who enjoys managing shipments end-to-end and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment.
What you’ll be doing :- Managing full-cycle ocean import shipments
- Coordinating bookings with shippers, hauliers, and carriers
- Preparing import documentation and customs paperwork
- Tracking shipments and providing proactive customer updates
- Ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations
- Handling invoicing, rates, and operational administration
- Previous experience in ocean import freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of import documentation and customs procedures
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines
- Experience using freight forwarding systems is advantageous
