Class 1 HGV Driver

About The Role

You’ll be driving modern, well‑maintained vehicles with curtain‑side trailers, working for a company that values its drivers and offers great support.

• Safely operating Class 1 vehicles to deliver ambient products to our customers
• Using curtain‑side trailers, ensuring goods are secure and handled with care
• Making multi‑drop deliveries across various locations
• Carrying out vehicle checks before and after shifts to ensure everything runs smoothly
• Keeping your logbooks up to date and following all road safety and compliance rules

You’ll thrive in this role if you’ve got a Full Class 1 (Category C+E) licence, a valid DIGI card, and a CPC card. Experience with fridge trailers or curtainsiders is a bonus, but if you’re confident, safety‑focused, and ready to learn, we’ll support you. You’re someone who works well independently, communicates clearly, and takes pride in delivering excellent service. You’ll need to be able to handle a truck in tight urban spaces and have a good understanding of UK driving rules and road safety, along with managing your time and working independently.
