Night shift supervisor, Transportation

Sunday to Thursday 2000 hrs – 0600 hrs

This vacancy is within the Transport department of the business based in our Felixstowe Depot.

• Oversee night operations an provide support to night staff with any operational issues
• Control avoidable costs, monitor and explain missed VBS / CBS costs
• Provide handovers to day shift to ensure the operation remains seamless
• Keep up to date with all relevant legislation and ensure that regulations, policies and procedures are followed
• Excellent leadership skills
• Attention to detail and consistency with data input.
• Ability to multitask work on several projects at the same time.
• Excellent experience of the Microsoft Excel suite.
• Clear communication.
• Ability to build strong relationships with the driving team.
• Previous Container experience is a must.
• Transport Managers CPC.
• Knowledge of Truckcom.
