SEND Teaching Assistant – Special Education School – Feltham

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a supportive Special Education setting?

We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Feltham, supporting pupils from Reception through to Year 11. The school caters for students with a range of additional needs, and applicants must have experience working with children or young people with a diagnosis of autism.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will:

Support students with autism across a specialist school environment
Work closely with class teachers, therapists, and support staff
Help pupils access learning and develop independence
Provide consistent, patient, and positive support
Assist with behaviour, communication, and sensory needs where required
Requirements:

Previous experience supporting students with autism
Experience in a school, care, SEN, or specialist provision is desirable
A calm, resilient, and nurturing approach
Must have the right to work in the UK
Must hold a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
