The business is a global Freight Forwarding and Logistics provider offering integrated supply chain solutions across international markets.
This position sits within the Business Development function, providing commercial and pricing support across the UK & Ireland. You’ll work closely with Business Development, Product and Operations teams in a commercially focused environment.

Road Freight Pricing Coordinator - The Details
 
Competitive salary depending on experience
Full time, Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Working hours 09:00-17:30
Established global Freight Forwarding organisation

Minimum 5 years' Freight Forwarding experience
Strong Road Freight product and operational knowledge
Understanding of Business Development and commercial processes

Experience with pricing, quotations, RFQs and tenders
Strong numerical, analytical and commercial skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Confident analysing data and making commercial recommendations
CRM experience;
Salesforce would be advantageous
Customer-focused, proactive and entrepreneurial approach
Ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers, overseas partners and internal teams  Road Freight Pricing Coordinator - Responsibilities
 
Manage day-to-day Road Freight pricing requests from UK and Global Commercial teams
Produce accurate and competitive spot, RFQ and tender pricing
Obtain and negotiate rates with Road Freight carriers and suppliers
Prepare quotations using company pricing systems and tools
Support tenders through pricing analysis and commercial recommendations
Work with Business Development and Product teams to understand customer requirements
Monitor quotation performance, success ratios and commercial data
Maintain preferred supplier rates, services and internal pricing information
Communicate pricing updates and ensure relevant systems remain accurate
Transition successful quotations and tenders to Branch and Operations teams
Attend customer meetings where Road Freight pricing input is required
Analyse pricing data to identify commercial and process improvements
Support training and development of colleagues in Road Freight pricing  About Us
