Data Management and Assessment Support Coordinator

AVAILABLE:
- Full time, eight hours per day, forty hours per week position.
- Paid sick, vacation and holidays.
- Employer paid single subscriber health insurance.
- $50,000 range for annual salary based on education and experience.
- Associates degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience with Synergy preferred.
JOB DETAILS
Data Management Duties
- Responsible for all Michigan Student Data System (MSDS) submissions.
- Coordinates and accurately submits student data as required by the Office of Civil Rights.
- Coordinates and accurately submits student data as required by the Michigan Department of Education for the School Infrastructure Database (SID) reporting.
- Serves as primary contact with GISD and other districts for all pupil accounting functions.
- Works in conjunction with high schools on reporting (GAD) graduation/dropout data and resulting rates.
- Assists with enrollment and pupil accounting.
- Responsible for all district student assessment, grade and data information for local, state and federal reporting.
- Responsible for all district student discipline and attendance information for local, state and federal reporting.
- Works closely with consortium districts on proper student tracking and reporting procedures.
- Serves as the district point of contact on data management system.
- Provides training on student data management issues and systems.
Assessment Support Duties
- Collaborates with site level administrators, teachers and counselors on the administration of various standardized tests.
- Input student accommodations into the testing system.
- Prepare and organize test materials.
- Assists building staff to troubleshoot issues during the testing period.
- Coordinates with building administrators/counselors to complete test training for staff proctors.
Other
- Provides front desk backup support as needed.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
