WHAT TO EXPECT

Primary Duties: A Controls Engineer performs various duties based on their knowledge and experience. The following is a list of most of the duties that may be asked of a Controls Engineer. This list is not all-inclusive nor is it required by each Controls Engineer:

  • Assisting Project Managers and Control Technicians with documentation, submittal manuals, and owner's manuals.
  • Maintain customer's documentation on the server in the PDF format for access via the company website
  • Provide Graphics for WebCTRL program for customer sites
  • Provide documentation for Project Managers and the Inventory Manager for shipment
  • Keeps documents organized in the appropriate locations on the server
  • Communicate with technical team on project updates
  • Able to fulfill project deadlines

Technical Skills required for this Position: Personable and good phone communication skills. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of the following programs: MS Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Internet Explorer, Web CTRL, View Builder.

Experience required for this Position: Computer Aided Drafting experience.

Training or Education required for this Position: High School Diploma with a 3.0 or higher GPA;
Mechanical or Electrical Degree is beneficial
