Miller Industries is seeking a Revit Modeler to work for our Flex Air Division at our Copper Ave. location in Fenton, MI. The Revit Modeler will be responsible for developing and producing detailed 3D models and drawings using Autodesk Revit. This role will focus on creating and maintaining accurate models across multiple disciplines, ensuring the integrity and coordination of designs, and collaborating with project teams to ensure that deliverables meet industry standards and project requirements.
WhatYou Will Be Doing
- Create and maintain 3D models in Autodesk Revit, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and designers to develop Revit models for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
- Ensure model coordination and resolve design conflicts by participating in clash detection processes, collaborating with other project team members to identify and address issues.
- Prepare construction drawings and documentation from Revit models, ensuring compliance with project standards and requirements.
- Maintain and update models as project scope or design changes occur, ensuring accurate version control and integration with the overall project.
- Support the team in developing 3D visualizations, renderings, and presentations as needed.
- Follow established BIM standards and protocols, ensuring that the modeling process aligns with company policies and industry best practices.
- Assist in the implementation of Revit templates and workflows to standardize modeling procedures and improve efficiency.
- Provide training and support for other team members on Revit features and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Revit tools, techniques, and trends to enhance modeling capabilities and improve workflow efficiency.
The position pays a competitive hourly wage along with a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, LTD, STD, a 401k with immediate match, 10 paid holidays, PTO and profit‑sharing bonus eligibility.
Requirements- Associate’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Revit modeling within a professional setting, preferably in architecture, engineering, or construction.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (advanced modeling, family creation, and drawing production).
- Familiarity with other BIM tools such as Navisworks, AutoCAD, or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, design principles, and BIM workflows.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with team members and other stakeholders.
- Ability to troubleshoot modeling issues, manage multiple priorities, and resolve challenges in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with clash detection, modeling for different building systems, and documenting revisions is a plus.
