Overview

DETAILER-FENTON MI. CONTRACT POSITION. DAY SHIFT: 6 AM START TIME. Looking for an entry level detailer to assist with upcoming projects.

Responsibilities
  • The Detailer details special products per design done by others or occasionally designs less complex products.
  • The details are completed manually on a drafting table or in CAD.
  • The goal is to detail in a cost effective and timely fashion. include the following.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • General assistance to project teams.
  • Completes detail work from finished designs.
  • Creates “as build ” drawings.
  • Assists in filing and maintaining of Client and/or customer information and drawings.
  • Reviews all drawings prior to release or checking. Revises mechanical drawings when necessary.
  • Fills out Bill of Material, manually or by computer.
  • Runs prints, when necessary.
  • Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns.
  • Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement.

Education

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
