IME Request Orthopedic Surgeon

Dane Street, LLC is seeking an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to take on the role of Independent Medical Examiner (IME). This position involves conducting thorough assessments and evaluations of orthopedic-related claims, providing expert opinions on the necessity and appropriateness of medical treatments, and issuing comprehensive reports based on clinical findings. The IME will work closely with insurance companies to help ensure fair and timely claims resolution.

• Must be a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with a valid state medical license
• Experience in performing independent medical evaluations preferred
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic treatments, standards of care, and evidence-based guidelines
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, able to convey complex medical information clearly
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines while maintaining professionalism
• Prior experience working with insurance providers or in a similar capacity is a plus
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing unbiased assessments
