Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota or compact state (Minnesota RN jobs)

• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

• Monitor fetal and maternal health using advanced fetal monitoring techniques

• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process

• Accurately document patient care and interventions in the Allscripts - Paragon electronic health record system

• Respond to obstetric emergencies and perform neonatal resuscitation as needed
