• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including systems start‑ups, cash handling, and readiness of the floor and stock rooms; hold store keys.
• Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops, and provide change at registers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience; greet customers and provide assistance.
• Coach team members on warehouse and vendor ordering processes, including opening the back door for deliveries.
• Register all sales, handle scanning errors, pricing changes, and voids.
• Assist with order exceptions, reverse logistics, and evaluating displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure compliance with the Outdate program.
• Perform basic department pricing, signage, and adjust prices as needed.
• Assist with bookkeeping, cash reporting, ledger maintenance, and bill payment.
• Maintain store cleanliness, order, and repair requests.
• Handle food separation, stock rotation, and use the first‑in first‑out method.
• Assist at the pharmacy window as requested.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations for regulated products.
• Conduct bag checks before leaving the store.
• Maintain respectful relationships and comply with company policies.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.

• Serve as liaison between management and non‑management team members.
• Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.

• One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder experience.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.

• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• Willingness to work with applicants with arrest and conviction records.
• Valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
