Assistant Branch Manager – Ferguson BranchFull-time | Monday–Friday;
Saturday rotation as scheduled. Fully on-site at the Ferguson, MO Branch.
The Role
The Assistant Branch Manager I/II is responsible for day‑to‑day operations of the branch and ensures the branch’s success in the branch manager’s absence. This includes working with employees to provide exceptional member service, educate members about SCU products and services, complete tasks, and run the branch efficiently.
What You’ll Do- Coach, lead, and motivate branch employees; promote participation in cross‑sales of products and services; provide training where applicable; meet with employees regularly, on an individual and group basis, to establish and reinforce sales/service goals.
- Develop, plan, and schedule the efficient use of materials, machines, technology, and employees to achieve outstanding service delivery.
- Set clear expectations for employee performance and responsibilities, coordinate work and procedures, evaluate progress, and provide feedback.
- Ensure branch reports and tasks are completed accurately and on time; review and research errors, ensure accountability, and recognize training and coaching opportunities.
- Input consumer loan applications in accordance with SCU loan policy and federal regulation; counsel and advise members on financial situations and cross‑sell credit‑union products and services.
- Provide prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous member service; investigate member concerns, research issues, and finalize resolution.
- Participate in community activities to promote and market the branch and Scott Credit Union.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum three years of diversified experience working in a customer service environment or a financial institution.
- Personal computer experience, including Microsoft Office products.
- Successful completion of all requirements of the Scott Credit Union Branch Manager Trainee Program.
