As an RN Clinical Supervisor , you will not only provide direct patient care but also oversee the nursing care delivered by others during night shifts at our hospital. In this role, you will:

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers.
• Collaborate with various departments to coordinate patient care.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality at all times.
• Perform your duties in alignment with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Role: Medical Surgical Supervisor

Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128

Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week

Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.

Experience: 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.

Certifications:

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.

• Education: BSN preferred
• Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred
• Experience: Prior management experience, especially in change management.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties.
