About Us
Aaron’s Estate Sales and Block Auction House are industry leaders in estate liquidation, auctions, and resale. With over 50 team members across multiple markets, we are committed to delivering high-value outcomes for clients while building a culture of ownership, excellence, and performance.
Our CoreValues: We are transparent, accountable, results-oriented, disciplined, aligned, and inspirational in everything we do.
We’re not building a bureaucratic HR department — we’re building a results-driven People Division that supports, aligns, and elevates the entire team.
The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Director of People Operations to oversee and optimize the full employee lifecycle — from recruiting and onboarding to KPI tracking, performance management, corrections, and terminations when necessary.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll report directly to the CEO and manage the systems, standards, and accountability that keep a 50+ person team moving in alignment with company goals. Your work will ensure that the right people are in the right roles — trained, supported, and producing at a high level.

Run first-round interviews to assess values alignment and role fit
Partner with department heads to make fast, informed hiring decisions

Own and continuously improve onboarding systems and training follow-through
Track completion of training modules and probation milestones
Ensure every new hire understands expectations and ramps up effectively
KPI Management & Staff Accountability
Monitor employee stats and output across divisions using internal tools and CRMs
Flag dips in performance, missing KPIs, or untrained personnel — and lead correction conversations
Track and enforce completion of daily training and staff targets

Maintain oversight of employee morale, conduct, and communication standards
Coach staff and managers on accountability, ownership, and alignment
Intervene quickly when conduct or production is off-track
Disciplinary Action & Termination
Handle documentation and conversations around corrective actions
Lead difficult conversations with professionalism and confidence
Make and execute termination decisions where necessary
Leadership Support & Policy Enforcement
Be a reliable partner to the CEO and leadership team in managing people across all divisions
Uphold company policies, training standards, and expectations consistently
Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal procedures
Internal Communication & Systems
Act as the bridge between leadership and the team — surfacing issues, bottlenecks, and wins
Maintain strong documentation and internal dashboards for hiring, onboarding, and staff KPIs
Regularly audit and improve systems to scale effectively
