Based in South London, Pretty Wired offers a wide range of services for residential and commercial clients. From traditional electrical work and small, reactive fixes to fully designed, supplied, and installed lighting solutions.

We're looking for the next person to join our friendly team of electricians. The technical requirements are outlined below but alongside this, we're looking for someone who is friendly, polite, possesses a keen work ethic and is keen to learn and adapt to new technologies.

You'll be dealing with end user clients on a day to day basis as you'll be undertaking a wide range of service calls as well as general electrical installations. Geographically, we cover London and surrounding areas. You'll be provided with your own van to help you with this.

The team hold a strong passion for all things lighting and as well as installing lighting fixtures, we also offer lighting control solutions such as Lutron, Rako, Lightwave and Philips Hue. Training will be provided for such systems but candidates must have an interest of willingness to learn about these systems.

As a relatively young company, there is a chance for the successful applicant to grow along with the company.

Salary £35,000–£46,000 per annum, dependent on years of experience in the trade and current qualifications, plus company vehicle. Ongoing training and development will be provided for the right candidate.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform general electrical installation, maintenance, and fault-finding work in both residential and commercial properties.

* Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and complete remedial works as required.

* Work with advanced lighting control systems, including brands like Rako and Lutron.

* Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety standards and complies with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

* Qualified electrician with relevant certifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).

* Experience in both residential and commercial electrical work.

* Familiarity with EICRs and the ability to carry out associated remedial works.

* Strong interest in high-end lighting solutions, LED upgrades, and advanced lighting controls (experience with Rako, Lutron, Philips Hue and Lightwave is a plus, but not a requirement).

* Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults efficiently.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship.

* Full UK driving license
