Job Summary

Eichleay is seeking a self‑driven and collaborative Scheduler to coordinate with project team members in establishing project plans and monitoring progress for small and medium capital projects. The Scheduler will provide management with schedule updates, KPI’s, and various reports that convey progress against established baselines and identify areas of risk so that mitigation plans can be implemented in a timely manner to drive successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the focal point with the client, project managers, subcontractors, procurement and project controls team to ensure schedule and progress are reported accurately, aligned with project reporting requirements, and timely.
  • Develop overall project schedules through the Interactive Planning (IAP) process.
  • Monitor overall project progress and report on achieved and upcoming major milestones.
  • Prepare and analyze schedule performance relative to the baseline plan and provide forecasts.
  • Identify, monitor, and report against the project critical path providing early warning to the Project Manager/Director of any potential slippages.
  • Report project status and KPI to management.
  • Develop project Work Breakdown Structure.
  • Accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of S‑curves and histograms.
  • Deliver fully resourced, logic‑linked Primavera P6 project schedules to meet agreed project and program requirements.
  • Provide analysis of current and future resource needs for the project to the Project Manager and Project Controls Team Manager; manage recovery process following identified slippages or significant float erosion.
  • Advocate and promote the project change management system and facilitate assurance activities to ensure the process is adhered to.
  • Provide cost control team with baseline (early and late) and earned value data for reporting and analysis.
  • Host ongoing internal team and client team Project Controls meetings (Schedule and Progress).
  • Assist with the preparation of proposal schedules.
  • Lead major schedule risk analysis workshops/sessions internally and with clients.
  • Ensure adherence to client specific guidelines, assurance processes and requirements.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all planning and risk deliverables prior to issue to internal or external customers.
  • Capture and implement lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
  • Promote communication and teamwork within the group and project.

Travel:
If required, ability to travel to nearby refinery site locations.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field;
    Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., PSP, PMP, AACEi) preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in scheduling within the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years in a senior role (e.g., refinery expansions, offshore platforms, or pipeline networks).
  • Proven track record working with major energy clients.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to present complex data to non‑technical stakeholders.
Preferred Requirements / Skills
  • Proficiency in industry‑standard software Primavera P6.
  • Strong knowledge of the oil and gas industrial industry, engineering deliverables (including discipline relationships), procurement, permitting, construction, commissioning, stages and gate approvals.
Compensation

$95,000 to $135,000. Anticipated annual salary may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal peer equity. This is a full‑time position offering a competitive compensation and benefits package with a 401(k) match.
