Assistant Quantity Surveyor​/Buyer

An established construction and development contractor is looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Buyer to join its commercial team based in Ringwood.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business delivering a diverse range of residential developments, care home schemes and refurbishment projects. Working within a close-knit commercial team, you'll gain exposure to both quantity surveying and procurement, playing an important role in the successful commercial delivery of projects from pre-construction through to final account.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you'll receive ongoing support while developing your commercial knowledge within a business that offers genuine long-term career progression.

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Buyer, you'll support both the procurement and commercial functions across multiple construction projects.

From sourcing subcontractors and materials through to assisting with valuations, cost reporting and final accounts, you'll become involved throughout the full project lifecycle, helping to ensure projects are delivered on programme, within budget and to the highest standards.

The position is primarily office-based in Ringwood, with regular visits to live construction sites.
