CNC Turner Ferndown up to £26 per hour Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a permanent role with flexibility, modern machinery, and a choice of shift patterns? This opportunity offers up to £26 per hour on nights and up to £21 per hour on days, with both four day and five day working options. Whether you are a skilled Setter Operator or an experienced Programmer, your precision and expertise will be highly valued.

As a CNC Turner, you will benefit from:
  • Permanent role from day one
  • Choice of day shift (8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 12:30pm Friday) or night shift (4pm to 2am Monday to Thursday)

As a CNC Turner, your responsibilities will include:
  • Programming, setting, and operating CNC turning machines using Fanuc controls
  • Producing precision components to tight tolerances
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical plans
  • Inspecting components using micrometres, verniers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Monitoring machine performance and adjusting settings to maintain quality
  • Following all health and safety procedures
As a CNC Turner, your experience will include:
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner, either as a Setter Operator or Programmer
  • Confident working with Fanuc controls
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Skilled in using micrometres, verniers, and other measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality
  • A positive, proactive approach and willingness to contribute to a focused engineering team
