We're recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well‑established fabrication company based in Ferndown, Dorset.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous metalworking experience who enjoys working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Full training will be provided, so we're looking for someone with good manual dexterity, a positive attitude, and a genuine willingness to learn.

As a Production Operative, you'll be involved in a variety of fabrication and production duties, including:

• Operating a range of production and metalworking machinery
• Cutting and preparing metal components
• Using a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
• Assisting with fabrication and assembly work
• Reading and following work instructions and production drawings
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

• Previous experience working with metal or within a manufacturing/fabrication environment
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Eagerness to learn new skills and develop within the business

• Full training and ongoing support
• Day shift working hours with an early finish every Friday
