Parenting Practitioner (Fixed Term, 12 months, part‑time 15 hrs/week)

Dorset – North/West Dorset; travel to Ferndown office, outreach hubs & families.

£26,500 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience and qualifications.

Dorset Parent Training & Education offer evidence‑based parenting programmes to families needing additional help to manage their children's behaviour. This role is a home‑based position delivering training sessions across Dorset.

• Support parents to improve outcomes for children with conduct problems.
• Provide high‑quality services to children, young people and their families.
• Model good practice and deliver evidence‑based parenting programmes.
• Offer a multi‑agency approach to supporting families.

• NVQ Level 3 in Child Care/Development (essential).
• Experience working alongside or liaising with multi‑agencies.
• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Experience supporting families to manage children's behaviour using evidence‑based strategies.
• Experience delivering group sessions.
• Must live locally within Dorset.
• Must have own vehicle to travel as required.

This role requires travel to families and the office; mileage and time from home will be reimbursed. Visa sponsorship is not available.
