The position involves teaching Industrial Education with a focus on Woodwork and Metalwork for grades 8-12 and Computers for grades 8/9. This full-time continuing contract starts September 8, 2026. Ideal candidates will possess BC Teacher Certification and relevant teaching experience in both industrial and computer education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Woodwork and Metalwork for grades 8-12
• Instruct Computers for grades 8-9
• Prepare lesson plans and classroom materials
• Assess student progress through evaluations
• Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development
Requirements:
• BC Teacher Certification preferred
• Degree or diploma in Technology Teacher Education
• Teaching experience in Woodwork and Metalwork
• Formal training or experience in Computers
• Red Seal certification is a plus
