Position: Math and Science Educator for Grades 8-12

The position is vital in shaping the minds of students while teaching subjects, including Math 8 and Environmental Science 12 for a period of nine months. Candidates are encouraged to demonstrate their qualifications, including a degree in Math and Science and relevant teaching experience. This role is fully on-site, emphasizing active class engagement and oversight in curriculum delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans for Math and Science

• Assess and report on student progress in different subjects

• Foster a positive learning environment for students

• Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum

• Meet requirements outlined in the Criminal Records Review Act

Requirements:

• Valid BC Teacher Certification is preferred

• Degree/formal training in teaching Math and Science

• Experience in a secondary education environment
